Consists of 110 mounted black and white photographs of historic houses in Burlington County, NJ. There is a typed foreword by N. R. Ewan datelined "Moorestown, August 16, 1939" that explains that "these photographs taken in 1932 and 1933 are illustrations of buildings erected before 1800; with one of two exceptions they are concerned only with dwelling houses...." Typed sheets identifying the structures, giving construction dates, original owners' names, notes on stories or traditions associated with the building, and the condition at the time (including particularly the presence or absence of original architectural details in the interiors), have been inserted before each photograph.
